Why GT-400
- Maximum payload in a compact class
- GT-400 offers one of the highest payload capacities in the compact AMR segment, ideal for heavier bins, racks and assemblies without the size or cost of a GTX platform.
- Stable, repeatable transport
- An optimised chassis keeps loads stable during acceleration, braking and turns — critical for sensitive or high-value components.
- Infrastructure-free deployment
- SLAM-based navigation eliminates magnetic tapes or markers, enabling fast deployment and easy reconfiguration as layouts evolve.
- Safe for shared factory floors
- Advanced obstacle detection lets GT-400 operate safely alongside people, reducing forklift traffic and accident risk.

Frequently asked questions
What payload can the GT-400 carry?
The GT-400 is rated for 400 kg. Other GT Series models cover 100–400 kg.
How fast is the GT-400 and how long does it run?
Maximum speed is 1.2 m/s, with about 8 hours of runtime per charge and a 4-hour charge. Actual figures depend on payload, floor conditions and duty cycle. Autonomous docking lets the robot charge itself between tasks.
Does the GT-400 need tape, magnets or QR codes on the floor?
No. The GT-400 navigates autonomously with SLAM and visual localisation, using the building’s existing features. A guided mode that follows magnetic strip or QR codes is also available where a fixed path is preferred.
What aisle width does the GT-400 need?
The minimum aisle width is 950 mm. Zero-radius in-place rotation. The robot measures 845 × 625 × 300 mm.
Can the GT-400 work with our ERP, MES or WMS?
Yes. GT Studio, GOAT’s fleet management platform, integrates with ERP, MES, WMS and PLCs through APIs, webhooks and industrial protocols, and supports VDA 5050 v2.0, v2.1 and v3.0 for mixed fleets.
What is the GT-400 used for?
Typical applications: automotive sub-assembly transport; heavy WIP movement; tool and fixture handling; packaging and kitting lines. It is a intralogistics carrier robot designed and manufactured by GOAT Robotics in India.
