Accessibility statement
Last updated
We want everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control — to be able to research and contact GOAT Robotics.
Our commitment
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We do not use accessibility overlays; accessibility is built into the site’s code and design.
What we’ve done
- Semantic HTML with one main heading per page, landmarks, a skip link and breadcrumb navigation.
- Full keyboard support with visible focus indicators; menus and dialogs close with Escape.
- Text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast; text resizes to 200% without loss of content.
- All specifications are real HTML tables, not images, with metric and imperial units.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Background video has a visible pause control, and motion is reduced when your device asks for it.
- Forms have visible labels, clear error messages linked to fields, and announce results to screen readers.
Known limitations
- Some downloadable PDF datasheets and brochures are image-based and not fully accessible. The same specifications are available as accessible HTML on each robot page, and we can send any document in another format on request.
- Some older blog images were published without detailed descriptions; we are adding them.
- The product film has music but no narration; a text description of the content is on the About page.
