Autonomous line-side delivery and line feeding
Deliver parts, kits and bins from stores to each workstation exactly when the line needs them — without operators walking trolleys.
The problem
Line feeding is repetitive, time-critical and easy to get wrong. When an operator is late or delivers the wrong bin, the line waits. Forklifts and manual trolleys also add congestion and risk around workstations.
How it works
- 1
Trigger
A call from the line, a kanban signal or an ERP/MES pull request creates a delivery task in GT Studio.
- 2
Pick-up
The nearest available robot collects the bin, kit or cart from the supermarket or store.
- 3
Deliver
The robot navigates by SLAM to the station, avoiding people and obstacles, and docks at the drop point.
- 4
Return
Empties are collected on the way back, so the supply loop closes automatically.
What changes on your floor
- Sequence-based delivery synchronised with ERP and inventory
- Fewer line stoppages caused by late or missing material
- Operators stay on value-adding work
- Routes change in software when the line is re-balanced
Robots for line-side delivery
Intralogistics carrier
GT-250
250 kg
More payload, same agility: 2.5× the payload of GT-100 on the same compact footprint, for factories that outgrow light AMRs but don’t need heavy-duty platforms.
GT-250 detailsIntralogistics carrier
GT-400
400 kg
One of the highest payloads in the compact AMR class — heavier bins, racks and assemblies without the size or cost of a GTX platform.
GT-400 detailsHeavy-duty carrier
GTX-500
500 kg
A 500 kg industrial AMR with in-place rotation — built for congested shop floors, narrow aisles and mixed human-robot traffic.
GTX-500 detailsTow / tugger
GT-XT
1,000 kg
Built for tugging, not lifting: tow multiple carts per trip to cut travel cycles, operator dependency and cost per move.
GT-XT detailsLatent lifting
GT-L 600
600 kg
A compact latent lifter for high-density intralogistics: 600 kg on a 940 × 650 mm chassis, with a sub-1-metre turning diameter for tight aisles and dense production layouts.

Frequently asked questions
Can delivery tasks be triggered by our ERP?
Yes. A customer integrated GOAT AMRs with an ERP-driven pull system for sequence-based delivery, inventory synchronisation and error-free line-side logistics.
Which robot is best for line feeding?
For bins and kits up to 400 kg, GT-250 or GT-400. For heavier carts, GTX-500 or GT-L 600. For long loops with several carts per trip, GT-XT.
Other applications
